How do you stop a payroll rw debit atempt

Welcome to Community!  With QuickBooks Online Payroll, paying your staff with direct deposit is a great time saver.  We debit your account for the amounts due, but there may be special circumstances when this transaction fails.  I'll be happy to provide more information, so you're on the right path for reaching your QuickBooks goals!

When the direct deposit is unsuccessful, an email notification is sent to the Principal Officer listed on the account.  We'll attempt to re-debit your account on the same day the notice is received from the bank.  If you'd like to stop the re-debit and pay the balance, contact us for further instructions.
