How does account principal officer review direct deposit information

Paycheque requires review by financial officer before issuance, but is not prepared by them.

I want to help you with this Direct Deposit question. Can you please confirm if you're still setting up the Direct Deposit account? If so, this information is needed because the principal officer serves as the main contact for a bank account that makes electronic payments, like direct deposits. 

 

They do not necessarily review the Direct Deposit all the time your process payroll. We require the principal officer's information (Name, Social Insurance number, and date of birth) along with their bank information in compliance with the Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) that falls within the Executive Branch of the U.S. This will help our Compliance Team with the account verification and approval for the Direct Deposit feature.

 

Please know that after the setup, you can change the primary officer anytime: Change the principal officer or primary principal in QuickBooks Payroll
