How does an employee upload a purchase receipt for a job? Can he take a picture of the receipt and upload to a job?

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  Providing the option for your employees to upload expense receipts is a valuable time saver.  I would be glad to help!

QuickBooks Online enables you to manage user permissions, for the receipt feature.  You can give standard users permission to forward receipts. Here’s how.

1. Go to Transactions, then select Receipts (Take me there).

2. Select Manage forwarding email.

3 Turn on the toggle for the users you want to give permission to forward receipts.
Note: If you haven’t set up users yet, select Add new user. They’ll appear after they accept your invite.

4. When you’re done, select Close.
