Question

How does one track monthly Canadian Corporate Federal Tax that one can pay monthly against the year end final payout ( this not about payroll tax or GST)?

Hello hrtlndsafety,

Thanks for specifying what you're trying to record. I know it's important to find the right instructions for your situation, so I'm here to help make sure you have the correct set of information.

Corporate Taxes aren't something that have an easy-access integrated section in QuickBooks Online at this time, but the good news is we have other users who've figured out ways to record their Corporate Tax installments, payments, and other information. I recommend checking in with an accountant to see if these are right for you, but I'm going to leave some links below where other users have shared their input.

That should get you started. Feel free to search around community some more to see what you can find.

If you're already working with an accountant and would like to have them as a user in your books, it's as easy as going to the My Accountant tab and using the field given to invite them by email. Otherwise, you can use the Find a Pro to Help button in that same tab to find a QuickBooks-savvy accountant to work with you.

All the best to you!
