HOW RUN THE PAYROLL?

Hi mosheikh2009-gma,

 

Welcome to Community!  Once you've completed setting up QuickBooks Online Payroll, you can pay your staff.  I'd be glad to show you how!

 

To run payroll, follow these steps;

 

1. From the left menu, open Payroll, then Employees

2. Select Run payroll

3. Choose a Pay schedule, then hit Continue

4. Confirm the account to Pay from, the Pay schedule and the Pay date

5. Place a checkmark beside the employees you want to pay

6. Change employee's Pay method as needed

7. Enter the hours worked and other pay type amounts for each employee

8. Select Preview payroll

9. If you need to edit or preview a specific cheque, select the Edit 📝 next to the cheque's net pay, then select OK when done

10. When you're ready, hit Submit payroll.

11. To print paycheques, select Print paycheques, then Finish payroll.
