How to add payroll to my Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020

Hi,

 

I bought Quickbooks Desktop Pro 2020 and I realized I need the payroll feature. I would like to add the payroll option. How do I do this?

It's great to hear from you again and I hope things have been going well for you and your business. Making sure you have the right version of QuickBooks Desktop with the add-ons you need is essential and it's important to me that you're able to get set up with the version you need.

 

In the event you've purchased your version of QuickBooks Desktop from a third-party retailer, I recommend going back to the retailer to learn how you might be able to swap out your version for Pro 2020 with Payroll.

 

If you've purchased your QuickBooks Desktop directly through Intuit, please get in touch with the QuickBooks Desktop support team to learn your options for adding payroll to your program. The Intuit QuickBooks Desktop software support policies page outlines how you can get in touch with support. The only change is that support hours for all QuickBooks Desktop products are Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET due to COVID-19 staffing reductions.
