How to check if payroll tax payment has been paid electronically?

I have set up payroll tax payment in quick book, but not sure  payment has been made.  I dont want to be late in payment.  Can someone pls tell me how to find out?

I appreciate you reaching out here.  Welcome!  Ensuring your QuickBooks Online Payroll remittance has been successfully submitted and paid, is important to ensure you remain in good standing with the CRA or RQ.  I'd be glad to provide some insight here!

 

When using the QuickBooks Online E-file and E-pay feature, the funds are directly withdrawn from your bank account two business days before the date of payment.  After you've completed the steps to pay your payroll taxes, an e-payment confirmation window opens.  Once you've selected Approve, you're provided an e-payment confirmation and the payment is submitted.  The corresponding filing is created and sent to the CRA or RQ.  You'll know if the payment has been made electronically as it shows E-payment or R-pay in the Pay method column.

 

1. Select Taxes, then Payroll Tax

2. Select Payments

3. Select Payment history

You’ll also receive an email with a subject line as: E-Payment Report for [Company Name].
