How to edit box 57 to 60 of T4 in quickbooks online?

It's great to hear from you again and I hope things are going well for you and your business. I'm glad to see that you're taking the time to review the information populating on T4s for your employees as that's the best way to ensure that the numbers are exactly as they should be. I can absolutely go over how QuickBooks Online's T4 fields work so that you can know the steps to take to correct them.

 

When QuickBooks Online produces T4 information, it pulls details from the pay runs completed in the program to do so. This is also true for the new fields, 57-60. There isn't a way to edit these fields directly on these forms and going about correcting the fields will depend largely on your situation.

 

For example, if you did have pay runs in the system for the periods those fields cover and they're not correct for whatever reason, our team may be able to help you by making the corrections on the back end. If you had entered year-to-date information in QuickBooks that includes any amounts from those periods, manually filling out and filing the T4s outside of the program is the way to handle this. Since year-to-date information is a lump sum amount, the program can't know which part of that should apply to the fields, so it doesn't pull any amounts from the year-to-date information.
