How to edit tax status on GL account

QuickBooks Online is a great tool to have, it allows you to add tax codes to your accounts. It's important to know how to add Tax codes to an account so that your books remain balanced. I can provide some information on how to add taxes to an account.

To change the Tax code in an account that has already been created, Navigate to the Accounting tab click on Chart of accounts, find the account you would like to modify. Beside Account history you will see a small drop down, click on it and choose edit. You will then be able to change the Default Tax code to what you may need.
