I am trying to do my January payroll tax but the "select the tax period" drop down menu only goes to Dec 31/2020 what's happeninng?

You can review your Payroll Tax information through the Taxes tab in our Payroll Tax section to review previous filings, payments, and also make edits to our tax setup if needed. Down below you will find a video that goes over the processes.
