I am unable to run payroll

When I go to run payroll it just sits there and doesn't do anything. I have paid my nsf charge and am not doing any direct deposit transactions

thanks for reaching out to us here.  It's essential that you're able to use QuickBooks Online confidence.  

 

When you encounter a payroll hold due to Non-Sufficient Funds, payroll cannot be run in the system.  This can be resolved by following the instructions in the email, that was sent to the Principal Officer on the account.  If you've completed the necessary steps and still cannot proceed with payroll,  I encourage you to contact our QuickBooks Online Payroll specialists, outside of Community. They'll be able to review your situation in more depth and provide the best course of action, to ensure you're able to pay your staff on time.
