I can't access my payroll from the main screen. Usually I go to employees, but can't get that tab.

Payroll is an important feature which QuickBooks offers and it's vital that it's working as normal so your staff can get paid on time. You've come to the right place for help. I'd be happy to share some advice on how to get this fixed ASAP. 

Based on what you've described, it sounds like your browser may need some cleaning. The best way to do this is clearing cache and cookies on your browser.
