Question

I cannot match payroll tax payments, usually when I process the payment, I go to the banking tab and the payment is ready to be matched there, what is the reason?

I never had this issue before but started having it with multiple clients.

Matching your transactions is a crucial step towards maintaining clean books. QuickBooks allows you to keep track of your payments with ease and I'd like to help make sure you experience this benefit. 

 

To get started, it's important to take note of some of the reasons that can prevent you from. Here's a list: 

  • The amounts don't match
  • The dates don't match or is not close
  • The bank account on the payment is not the same as the bank where the match is located
  • The payment has been reconciled
  • The transaction is already matched to something else
  • There’s a multi-currency issue with the exchange rates
