Hello stewarta,

Payroll is an important part of many businesses and QuickBooks Online aims to make it easy with its Payroll modules. I know it's vital for these calculations to be correct and I want to make sure your numbers are lining up in your books.

Knowing which Payroll service you're using, how you've set up the books, and how you've entered the numbers will narrow down what's gone awry with these calculations. Our system is designed for accuracy, so when something isn't quite making sense, we want to find out where it is. For that reason, I recommend contacting QuickBooks Online support.

Before you reach out, feel free to double check our own calculations. There are a couple payroll calculators that you can use to verify your numbers. Feel free to choose from one of the options below.

To speak with a QuickBooks support agent directly, choose from one of the following options.

Phone and Chat: Click Contact Us to learn how to reach phone and chat support.

Schedule a Callback: click (?)Help in the upper right > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback (Note: Callback hours are the same as regular phone hours.)

Social MediaFacebookTwitter, and Instagram from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. ET

The agent will be able to collect more details from you to help you iron things out and get going with running the payroll for this company.

Have a great day.
