I get a message that my payroll is no longer active. How to fix this?

Thanks for reaching out to us here.  Having a notification that your QuickBooks Online Payroll is inactive, is concerning.  I would be happy to help, so you can pay your staff on time!

 

To review your subscription and edit the payment method, follow these steps;

 

1. Sign into QuickBooks Online as the Primary admin

2. Open your Settings ⚙ and select Subscriptions and billing

3. In the QuickBooks Online Payroll section, click on Reactivate/resubscribe

4. Update your credit card information

5. Review the address for your credit card. It must be the same one that appears on your credit card statements.

6. When you're done, select Confirm card or Save.
