Question

I get a message when I try to change my legal business name that says, "Changing the filing name will disable eServices" Can I disable eServices temporarily?

Hi sarahlynnroc-gma,

 

Thanks for reaching out here.  It's essential that you're able to update your business information in QuickBooks Online, without concerns.   

 

Please make sure to log in as the Primary Admin of the account and then proceed to update your company information.  If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Payroll Support team.  They can take a look at your issue in more depth from their end, and disable the e-Services in your account for you, and ensure your company information is accurate.

I am having the same issue while changing the business name (there was a spelling mistake)

It's essential that your company information is accurate in QuickBooks Online.  Please contact our Customer Care team at 1-855-253-1536 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 9 AM and 8 PM EST.  They will be happy to work with you directly, and ensure you're information has been updated as soon as possible!
