I have a pay period I have to enter into payroll for last year for 2 employees paid manually how can I do this for

Hello sherryramsay,

 

I'm happy that you're looking for the best way to enter pay cheques that you may have missed using QuickBooks Online Payroll. This will ensure that your payroll taxes are tracked as accurately as possible. Let me give you a hand.

 

You'll only be able to run payroll for pay periods that are within 6 months of the current period. If the period that you need to enter falls within that timeframe you should have no problem selecting it from the Pay period dropdown when you Run payroll. If the date falls before that, there's a special process you'll need to follow with our team of payroll experts in order to enter it. I'll share the details for how you can reach out at the bottom of my reply. 

 

Once you get in touch with our team outside of the Community, they'll gather some sensitive account details, and they'll send you an email with a form that you need to complete with the requested changes. You'll send that form back when complete and they'll escalate it to the appropriate team to make the changes in the backend. Currently, the wait time for having these changes processed is at least 20 business days.
