I have set the payroll on direct deposit, and entered all the bank info. Payment date was 27th Jan, but funds are not transferred yet. I want them to be credited today.

I appreciate you for reaching out to us here in the Community, @ashish-canada. Let me share with you some information about processing direct deposit payroll in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If I may ask, may I know when did the direct deposit payroll submitted? This way, we can determine when will the funds be posted to your employees' bank accounts. 

 

Usually, direct deposit payroll is offloaded two banking days before the paycheque date at 5 pm PT. If you've submitted the transactions on time, funds should be deposited to your employee's account on the paycheque date. However, the time of direct deposit posting varies on the employee's bank and is not controlled by Intuit. The bank has until 11:59 pm PT on the cheque date to post the funds to the receiving bank account.

 

If the pay cheque date is January 27 and the funds didn't reach the employees' account, you may reach out to our Support Team to review the status of the transaction. To contact support:

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Enter your query in the Type something field.
  4. Select Contact Us.
  5. Enter your concern, then select Continue.
  6. Choose a way to connect with support.
