I'm trying to add stat holiday pay as a pay option but it is greyed out and won't let me check the box off

It's nice to see you in Community.  Welcome back!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great way to ensure your staff is paid with confidence.  It's important that your staff is compensated for statutory holidays, based on government guidelines.   I'd be happy to provide more insight here!

 

Statutory holiday pay is mandatory in Canada, so it's automatically activated for your employees.  When you run payroll, the statutory holiday pay is displayed, and you'll enter the applicable hours for each employee.  Here's a helpful guide, for your reference.  In addition, click here for more information on supported pay types and deductions in QuickBooks Online.
