I'm trying to set up an employee who worked part of the year hourly and the remainder staff

It's my pleasure to help share information about setting up an employee in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

You can set up an hourly employee and just select how often you pay your employee and how do you want to pay him/her.

Here's how:

 

  1. Log in to your QBO account.
  2. Click on Employees at the left pane.
  3. Go to the Employee list section, then click on Add an employee.
  4. Fill in the employee's name.
  5. Select how often do you want to pay your employee on the How often do you pay this employee section.
  6. Go to the How much do you pay this employee and select Hourly.
  7. Enter the employee's hourly rate.
  8. Continue the setup and click on Done.
