I need a traditional payroll journal. Monthly gross, deductions for the year 2023. Not by employee, just totals for 12 months?

Thanks for reaching out about payroll. QuickBooks Online is a great tool able to help you pay your employees for the hours you've worked. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with payroll journals.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Payroll, entering a journal entry will not affect the payroll centre for wages for specific employees as well as the payroll liabilities accrual for payments. If you've run payroll, and the pay runs aren't affecting your books, then I recommend reaching out to the support team outside of the Community. They'll be able to view the pay runs in the system to assist in making sure payroll journals are being entered. You can reach them using these methods:
