I need to cancel/amend the scheduled payroll as i forgot the Stat holiday...any thoughts?

Making sure you're accounting for all of the necessary hours in your pay runs is essential for accurately calculating payroll. It's good you've noticed that missed stat time before the employees have been paid. I'll get you to where you need to be to sort this out.

 

For these kinds of situations, there are a number of things we'll want to know: which QuickBooks Online Payroll module you're using, when the pay run is scheduled for, what it's current status is, and whether you're using direct deposit. I know business owners and bookkeepers are busy people and payroll comes with deadlines, so I want you to be able to resolve this as quickly as possible.

 

For that reason, I recommend getting in touch with QuickBooks Online support to discuss your situation. If you're using direct deposit, the agent will also be able to verify the status of the pay run in the back-end system to see what the options are and what steps you can take to make corrections.
