I need to do a payroll for Last year, but do not see an option for it. How do I accomplish this?

When setting up your payroll account in QuickBooks Online, you have the option to enter previous payroll done in another software as your year-to-date information. This enables the system to keep your profile up-to-date and pick up from where you left before coming to Online Payroll. That being said, you can only run payroll from the period from which you started your subscription in QuickBooks Payroll. If the payroll you're trying to run is from a period before starting with Online Payroll, that would explain why you're unable to do so, as this information should instead enter as year-to-date. In case the dates of your pay run is within the range you started using Online payroll, it's important to note that you can only go back for six months in the program. Any information above that would also need to be entered as year-to-date.
