Question

I need to process payroll in the system for dates older than what the Pay Period is allowing. How do I go back to the beginning of the year and process?

Hi there,

Thanks for taking the time to post in the Community. I'd be glad to share more info on entering prior payroll details for one of your staff members.

The ability to enter prior payroll data in QBO is available if you haven't ran payroll. Based on your description, it seems like you've already ran your payroll which means the ability to enter your prior payroll data is unavailable on your end. The good thing is our Payroll Team will be happy to give you a hand with this. They'll be able to check your account and help enter prior payroll details on your behalf.

You can contact our Payroll Team using this link here. Our agents are available Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Let me know if you have questions.
