I paid December 2021 payroll in 7th January 2022 for my employees and now for 2022 payrolls YDT is calculated with December 2021 and its wrong

in this case YTD for each employee is more than their real pay. i pay to my employees every 2 weeks and now ( at the end of the January) in pay cheque they have 3 payment while they just have 2 pay

Thanks for reaching out here.  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great way to pay your staff with peace of mind.  I can see how concerning it is when the YTD isn't recorded accurately for the new year.  I'll be happy to point you in the right direction so you're on the right track with your work.

 

In this situation, I recommend contacting us outside of Community so we can gather the necessary information to look into this further from our end, and ensure the information is accurate and aligned for a positive outcome.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
