I saw the ad for 10$ quarterly, but now i found out that i will be charged monthly. please enlighten me. thank you

I know it's a big decision to choose the software you'll be using to manage a set of books, so I want to make sure you have the information you need about your billing with QuickBooks Online. I'd be happy to go over this to you and point you in the direction of how you can learn more about your subscription.

QuickBooks Online has two subscription models: monthly or annual payments. This gives you the flexibility to plan and make your subscription payments and keep your books active. Add ons to the program have different billing models, such as QuickBooks Online Payroll with its monthly fees and QuickBooks Payments with the per transaction fees.

Since you mention seeing a quarterly fee, knowing which ad you saw would be helpful so we can make corrections to it if needed. If you mean you saw a discounted price of, for example, 50% off for the first three months (which would put a QuickBooks Online EasyStart subscription down to $10) what that means is the rate is reduced 50% per month for a 3 month period. This would result in a $10 per month payment, plus taxes.
