I tried to set up my payroll online and today received an email stating that can't approve Dire Deposit and E filing why so ?

It's a pleasure to see you in Community.  Welcome!  Setting up e-file and e-pay is a great way to allow QuickBooks to make your payroll tax payments and file the necessary tax forms on time.  It's important that you complete the setup for e-file accurately to avoid a possible delay.  I would be happy to provide more information, so you can complete your payroll goals in a timely fashion!

 

To ensure you've completed the e-file setup, follow the steps here.  If you've completed this process, but did not see a test transaction from the associated account for the direct deposit, you'll need to re-trigger the test transaction.

 

Should you require additional assistance, I recommend contacting our QuickBooks Online Payroll specialists, outside of Community.  They will be have the ability to review your account in more depth and assist you with activating the e-file/e-pay service as soon as possible!
