I was using QuickBooks for the last almost year and last night all my company info is gone what happened ??

I'm excited to hear that you've been using QuickBooks Online for almost a year! It sounds like the program is working well for your company, so making sure you have access to it is important to me. I'm here to help.

 

QuickBooks Online gives you easy access from your computer or mobile device using the same login information. What I suspect may have happened is you tried accessing your QuickBooks from a different device than you usually do and accidentally created a new account, which would explain why none of your previous information is there. The other thing that may have happened is that you tried to apply the website discount to your current subscription. For existing accounts, the subscription is managed through your account, so going through the website would have created a brand new account for you.

 

There are a couple of ways to verify if you have two accounts. The first is to think about the login information you're using. If you're suddenly using different login credentials, that's a good indication that you've got a new account. However, if you've got the same login details, you can still check to see if there's suddenly a new account that was created accidentally. Simply go to the Gear icon and choose Switch company. This will take you to your list of companies.

 

In the event you have a secondary account that you didn't mean to create, I encourage you to cancel the one you don't need by following these steps: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription
