If employee has another job will their Federal and Provincial claim amounts be 0?

Welcome to the Community. QuickBooks offers a versatile payroll module that simplifies the way you pay your employees. Rest assured, I'll be glad to share more info so you're on the right track. 

 

The program is designed to apply payroll taxes on employees as a default. This means that an employee can be added on separate accounts  and still pay for the taxes on both. In the event that the employee is exempt from paying taxes, I recommend contacting our support team directly so they can assist you further with making the employee exempt from payroll taxes. Otherwise, I recommend getting in touch with an accounting professional for expert advice.
