If you have submitted a T4 Summary to the CRA and your payroll ledger is not matching what was submitted to CRA, what is the best way to fix this?

Making sure your payroll information is correct integral part of providing accurate documentation to the CRA. I can point you in the right direction.

 

QuickBooks Online makes submitting a T4 summary easy by keeping track of the payroll information entered. If your information is not matching you would need to find the entries that are off and correct them. For this reason I'd suggest getting in touch with an account with an accountant as they are trained to find and correct these issues. If you don't have an accountant not to worry, we have your back. You can click on the my accountant button in your QuickBooks Online account and then find a pro to help. This will allow you to find an accountant in your area who is also trained in using QuickBooks Online.
