Hello,

It's great that you've decided to run payroll with QuickBooks Online! Organization is all about keeping your finances in one place, which is made easy when you're integrating all aspects of your business into one accounting program. I'd be happy to explain why you're seeing transactions called "Payroll Adjustment" in your General Ledger.

If you've made a mistake with a previous pay run, you're able to adjust this by contacting our support team. When the changes are made in the back-end by our support agents, these transactions typically appear in your account as a Payroll Adjustment. You may recall submitting a Pay Edits Template, or having our team adjust your payroll in real-time while you were on a call.

If you don't recall these adjustments being made and are still unsure what those transactions may be, I'd recommend reaching out to our team for more information. It's essential that we take a look at your specific account to find out what may be happening.
