Is it possible to enter an employee who is a student and does not have a SIN number?

QuickBooks Desktop and the Payroll add-on are great tools for managing books. For something like this though it's best to contact the CRA to see what the practice is for situations like this and make sure the information is entered correct way. You can reach out to them by following this link.

I suggest getting in touch with them before entering your employee in to make sure it is entered right.
