Is the $2/employee for the payroll option still charged on terminated employees?

Thanks for joining the QuickBooks community. I'll gladly assist you with this. QuickBooks Online Standard Payroll offers great features including custom pay options and free direct deposit. The $2/employee/month fee is only charged for the employees who were paid during that month. This fee does not apply to terminated employees and employees without pay for that month period.
