Issue with QuickBooks Time employee sync

We want to use QuickBooks Time with QuickBooks Online for billing and time tracking but not for payroll (we are an accounting firm and all on salary). However, the timesheets won't pull through to QBO properly because it is not recognising that our QBO accounts are the same as our employee set up in payroll. I.e. we have duplicate names in QBO - one that relates to our QBO login, and one that relates to our employee set up in payroll. How do we fix this? Thank you.

Having your QuickBooks Time account sync with your QuickBooks Online is a great way to transfer timesheets between the two. I'd be happy to help point you in the right direction to get the two synced together.

 

In order to sync your QuickBooks Time account to your QuickBooks Online I recommend following the steps in this article. If that doesn't work you may need to contact our QuickBooks Time support team as they can pull up your account and get this resolved for you.
