Manual cheques direct deposits

I missed the payroll deadline, and since today is a public holiday, my staff will not get paid until Tuesday (5 days late). As such for this payroll only, I want to give manual cheques. How do I do this?

Hi @dad-oppenheimer , thanks for reaching out to the community.

If you'd like pay your employees using cheques, you'll need to turn off direct deposit first then use the print cheques option. Here are the steps on how to turn off direct deposit:

 

  1.     Select Employees
  2.     Select Run Payroll.
  3.     Select the direct deposit icon next to the employee's name.
  4.     Select Paper cheque.
  5.     Preview and submit the rest of your payroll as you normally would.
