Question

My new employees did not receive their payroll emails from workforce for their first payroll run. They checked spam, email addresses...what else do we need to do?

Welcome to Community! Inviting your employees to Workforce, provides them with quick access to their paystubs and T4 slips.  It's essential that they're able to access their account, effortlessly. I would be glad to provide some insight here!

 

When you invite your staff to QuickBooks Workforce, it's important to send the invitation to an email address that isn't associated with any other QuickBooks product, or previous Workforce account. If you've given the employee access to your QuickBooks Online account, as a time tracking user only, they must use a different email for Workforce than the one they use to sign in to QuickBooks Online.

 

Once the invitation is sent, the employee will receive an email with a link to set up and use QuickBooks Workforce. They will need to complete the account set up, and add their personal information, so they can view their pay stubs, T4s, and RL-1s.

 

Here's how they can view their T4/RL-1 slips;

 

In the QuickBooks Workforce App

1. Sign into your Workforce account and tap Taxes, or More, then T4s/RL-1s

2. Tap Download, then select the T4/RL-1 to view or print.

 

From the a web browser;

 

1. Sign in to workforce.intuit.com

2. Open the Documents menu

3. Choose Tax forms or Shared documents

4. Select the T4/RL-1 slip or document to view or download and then print.
