Being able to pay your employees directly through the QuickBooks Online Payroll add on is a great way to both save time and make sure your employees are paid on time. I'd be happy to point you in the right direction for this.

 

When you first put the request through to set up direct deposit in QuickBooks Online you should see a charge of $1.00 show up within 2-3 business days. If you don't see that charge I recommend following the steps in this article to correct it.

 

If you did see the charge but it still states that it's awaiting approval I recommend contacting our support team so they can pull up your account and look into what is causing the hold. To reach our support team you can use one of the following methods:

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?)Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > type and enter "Contact support" into the QB Assistant > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
