Hello hszetchancho,

 

I know the important role these new fields on T4s play for tracking income during the initial periods of the pandemic in Canada. A part of that role is having accurate information populating in the fields, and I want to make sure that you are able to determine the steps to fix them as you need.

 

QuickBooks Online keeps things simple when it comes to fields 57-60 on T4s: not only do the fields exist, but they also auto-populate based on the information from your pay runs. The program doesn't, however, populate any data that was entered through historical payroll if you started with QuickBooks Online Payroll partway through the year. If that fits your situation, I recommend manually completing the T4s outside of the program to ensure that you have all of the data you need.
