On preparing payroll for January 15, I notice the total sick hours available are not correct. How do I correct the total sick hours available?

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll provides the flexibility you need, when it come to managing your employee profiles.  I would be glad to guide you through the steps, so you can pay your staff with confidence!

 

Here's how to edit sick pay hours;

 

1. Open Payroll from the left menu, then Employees

2. Select the Employee name, to expand their profile

3. Scroll down and click Edit in the Pay types section

4. Under Time off policies, make the appropriate changes to the Current balance

5. Hit Save.
