My employees payroll cheques are showing as the wrong net amount in the bank rec.  For example, paycheque's net pay is 295.63 but when I go to clear it in the bank rec it shows in bank as a completely different amount.  Has anyone ever came across this? How do I fix it?

Welcome to Community!  Having your bank register and payroll transactions show different amounts is concerning.  It's important that these areas along with your payroll journals are aligned, in QuickBooks Online Payroll.  The best course of action in this situation, is to contact us outside of Community.  This will allow our Customer Care team to look further into the unexpected outcome in more depth, and escalate it for further investigation if needed.

 

Schedule a Callback: click (?)Help in the upper right > click Contact Us > explain your situation > click Let's Talk > choose Get a callback (Note: Callback hours are the same as regular phone hours.)
