i have been using quickbooks for years but recently hired an employee and want to use the payroll feature. although quickbooks is offering a 30 day free trial the feature does not even work!  You cant activate it.  it has been a know technical issue for a week but this is very unprofessional.  it seems this is a basic feature of the platform and it is not available,  so how i guess i will pay my employee cash until quickbooks gets their act together

The first recommendation would be to clear cache on your browser, if you haven't done so already, and then log into your QuickBooks account using a private or incognito browser.  If you experience the same outcome, I suggest contacting us using one of the methods below, so we can take a deeper look into the situation from our end and ensure you're able to get started with the payroll feature as soon as possible.

 

Schedule a Callback or start a Chat: click (?) Help in the upper right in QuickBooks Online > enter "Contact support" > hit Contact Us > provide a brief summary of your situation > hit Let's Talk > choose Get a callback or Start a Chat.
