Hi there info-jadecpa-ca,

It's vital that your employees get paid the right amount for the hours they've worked. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you calculate payroll so you can pay it either by direct deposit or by cheques. I can point you in the right direction for assistance with this payroll with missing sick pay.

If you're running payroll as paper cheques in the system, you can delete the paycheques in order to recreate them. You can do so by going to the Payroll tab, then the Employees section. Click on Pay cheque list, then check the boxes of the ones you want to recreate, then choose Delete. You can then run the paycheques again as you would normally run payroll.

If you've run the payroll with direct deposit, you would need to reach out to the QuickBooks Online support team, so that they can check in the system for the status of the direct deposit. if it's early enough in the process, then the paycheques can be deleted and reran. if the status of the direct deposit in the system is too late, then it won't be able to be changed beforehand, and you'd have to run another cheque for the missing sick pay. You can reach them using these methods so that they can check the status of the pay in processing:
