Payroll screen will not open. Pressing run payroll just refreshes the screen.

Hi there, greenpeonyenterp.


This issue has been reported to our engineers and an open ticket is already issued (INV- 31645). They’re actively working to get the Payroll feature running back to normal.


While waiting for the permanent solution, log in to your account via incognito mode or private browsing. From there, create paycheques for your employees. 

 

To open the InPrivate window:

 

  • For Internet Explorer or Firefox, press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • For Safari, hold down Command + Shift + N.

If you can process payroll smoothly, clear the cache of your regular browser. This can help improve the overall functionality of the application.


If none of these suggestions work, I recommend you sign up to our notification list of affected users. I recommend contacting our QBO Care Team since they can add the company in a secure space.

 

You’ll receive an email once there's progress about the issue. The investigation provides the engineers with important data they can use to help implement a permanent resolution. 

 

To reach them:

 

  1. In your QBO company, go to the Help menu to select the Contact Us link.
  2. Enter contact support in the field box, and then click on the Let's Talk button.
  3. In the contact us window, choose how you want to reach our support: Get a callback or Start a chat.
