Payroll subscription

I am subscribed to quick books payroll.  Right now I am using Quick Books pro desktop 2023

To get the July 1st update, do i have to update to Quick Books 2024

    Thanks for reaching out in Community.  Updating your QuickBooks company file, provides the latest features and improvements.  If you're subscribed to payroll,  you'll also need to download the latest payroll tax table.  In addition, you can set up automatic updates so that QuickBooks downloads them automatically as soon as they're available.

    I do have automatic updates on.  However my question was do i need to download quick books desktop 2024 in order to get the latest payroll tax tables.    

     

    The  link is to a chat which unfortunetly does nothing

      Hi mary53,

       

      If you've downloaded the payroll tax table update on June 18th or later, the updated amounts will be effective on July1st.  Updating your QuickBooks company file, is also recommended, to ensure accuracy in other areas of your books.
