Hi, kropivnitski, I am curious, why haven't you updated your QB to 2018? If you pay monthly, that would be logical, at least to me, and then your payroll would update? Not intended to offend, genuinely curious why you wouldn't update. Is there something stopping you from doing that?

when i tried updating to 2018 version i got a message - "nothing to update". i called qb helpline and they said that the qb data files are "corrupted" and need to be "fixed". the price is US$2,000!

that shouldnèt stop you from updating the software. The data files should be stored elsewhere. Did they ask you to run a verify data utility to fix the data file that is corruptedè

When you open QB Pro and select Ctrl and 1 (not F1), just #1 what do you see about your version, etc.?

Do you have the number you called on your phone? Can you please report it, or give it to us to report? Intuit will shut them down.

I think you can add numbers in an answer, or maybe use other characters like capital I for 1?
