Question

QBO did not process my Payroll Tax Electronically. This should have been paid on12th as shown on the Taxes Screen but now it shows that it has to be paid manually now?

The chat rep Kimberley confirmed to me that it was a glitch affecting several customers and someone will get back to the escalation Ticket INV 71718 E. However, no one has got back and I am at risk of paying Penalties due to QB. Their support does not work on Weekend (Only Sales team works - obviously they want more business but dont want to service existing customers). There is no E-mail option either. Its pathetic Customer Service where we have to spend hours on chat and call with no real solutions to any problems.

Thanks for reaching out here.  It's essential that you're able to file and pay your payroll remittance as scheduled to keep in good standing with government guidelines.  I'll be happy to provide more information so you can get back to business as soon as possible!

 

Currently, if you subscribed to QuickBooks Online Payroll prior to December 2021, our new E-Pay feature is unavailable.  Our Development team is looking into this matter and working diligently to get it resolved as soon as possible.  If you'd like to be notified when this has been fixed, please contact us in a private setting so we can gather the necessary information to send you an email update.  In the interim, you can make your payment directly on the CRA website.
