QBO payroll not working....what can I do to resolve?

Let’s get your payroll up and running by performing the browser troubleshooting steps.


Log in to your QBO company using a private window or incognito mode and run payroll from there. This allows you to surf the web without storing the browsing history and the web cache.

 

Here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: press Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Mozilla Firefox: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Internet Explorer: press Ctrl + Shift + P.
  • Safari: press Command + Shift + N.


If you can use the Payroll feature seamlessly, clear the cache of your regular browser. The next time you access a webpage, it will load and display the most recent version of the site.


Should this not work in a private window, switch to a different browser to help narrow down the cause of this unexpected behavior.
