Quickbooks Desktop Payroll Number of Companies supported

Hello, I can't seem to find to this information on the Canadian subscription. We have 6 separate companies with 5 distinct payrolls. I am wondering how many company payrolls does the Quickbooks Desktop Pro + Payroll subscription support? I saw on the US discussion boards that the American subscription allows 3 unique companies per 1 payroll subscription, is this the same rule for Canada? Is it possible to add a 2nd payroll subscription to the fee with Desktop?

I recommend contacting our Support Team for further help. They can confirm the actual number of company file or tax ID's you can add for a single subscription of payroll. To get a live representative, use the following steps in your account:

 

 

  1. On your QuickBooks company file, click the Help menu.
  2. Tap the QuickBooks Desktop Help option.
  3. Press Contact us on the pop-up box.
  4. Click on the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search, then scroll down to get your contact options.
