Regarding CPP Deductions

I have added new employee in the quick books but cpp deductions not done. Could you please help me out with that

Welcome to Community!  QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great module for paying your staff seamlessly. Ensuring that CPP is correctly calculated is essential.  I'll be happy to help!

 

Follow these steps to have CPP deducted from an employee:

 

1. From the Gear in the top right, open Payroll settings

2. Select the Employee name and then Edit employee

3. Open the Pay tab and go to the section for What are (employee's name) tax withholdings? section

4. Click on the Edit ✎ to open the TD-1 

5. Scroll to the bottom and click on Tax exemptions

6. Remove the checkmark from the box for CPP and hit Done to save
