Removing Stat Holiday Pay

My business does not have to pay statutory pay to all employees, as this is a healthcare related business in Ontario.  How do I get around the fact that Quickbooks online does not let me deactivate Statutory Pay for employees as it's on by default.

It'svital that your employees get paid the right amount for the hours they've worked. QuickBooks Online Payroll is a great tool able to help you pay your employees, all while entering this pay into your books. I can provide some information about stat holiday pay.

 

In QuickBooks Online, there isn't the option to remove Stat holiday pay as an available pay type for any employee, but how sta holiday pay in QuickBooks Online works is that you have to enter how many hours of stat holiday pay you want to pay for each employee when running payroll, it isn't automatically calculated. So, that being said, for those employees that shouldn't receive any stat holiday pay, you jut need to leave their stat holiday pay box blank.
